This page explains, in plain language, what this website collects about you and what happens to it. It covers saltedhoneyventures.com, operated by Salted Honey Ventures LLC trading as Salted Honey Digital, in Fayetteville, NC.

What we collect

When you send the contact form

You choose what to give us. The form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, a budget range, and a description of your project. We receive exactly what you type and nothing else. We use it to reply to you and to quote your work.

When you just read the page

We collect anonymous, aggregated information about visits — which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor was, what kind of device they used, and which site referred them. This tells us whether the site is working. It does not tell us who you are.

Cookies and analytics

Three services run on this site. Two of them do not use cookies at all.

ServiceWhat it doesCookies
Vercel Web Analytics Counts page views and referrers. Does not identify individuals or track you across other websites. None
Vercel Speed Insights Measures how fast pages actually load for real visitors. None
Google Analytics 4 Reports audience and behaviour. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. Yes

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. It is loaded only after the page has finished rendering, so it never delays what you came to read. If you would rather not be measured at all, Google publishes a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and most browsers offer a "do not track" or tracker-blocking setting that stops it.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. Ever. A small number of companies process it on our behalf because they run the infrastructure this site depends on:

  • Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Vercel — hosts the site and provides the two analytics services above.
  • Google — provides Google Analytics.
  • Namecheap — manages the domain and forwards email sent to our published address.

We may also disclose information if a law or a valid legal request requires it. If that ever happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages stay in our email for as long as we are working together, plus a reasonable period afterwards for our business records — generally seven years, which is the ordinary window for tax and contract purposes. Analytics data is aggregated and retained by the providers under their own schedules.

Your choices

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it, unless we are legally required to keep it;
  • stop contacting you.

Email hello@saltedhoneyventures.com and we will action it. We do not require you to prove a legal right before we honour a deletion request — if you ask, we do it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS everywhere. We do not run a database, store passwords, or accept card payments on this site, so there is no account of yours here to be breached. Form submissions travel encrypted to our email provider. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We will not quietly broaden what we collect and leave the date alone.
